This Scottish Sour Black IPA was brewed using a variety of malted barley, malted wheat and malted oats. Simcoe, Cascade and Mosaic form the hop profile. After being brewed, the beer spends a total of six months in Italian foeders before being dry- hopped. The result is a pitch black pour with aromas of dark, roasted malts and fresh hops with a hint of sourness on the nose. The liquid itself is a beguilling marriage of dark coffee and bitter chocolate intertwined with vibrant hops and citrus fruits with a cutting sourness that slices through the beer!
