The Abbey of Our Lady of Koningshoeven is a Trappist monastery whose brewery was founded in 1884 and which continues its beer production activity under the name De Koningshoeven and the La Trappe brand.

It has received the exclusive 'Authentic Trappist Product' (ATP) label from the International Trappist Association, which guarantees that Trappist beer is brewed under the supervision and responsibility of the monks, within the walls of the abbey, and that part of the profits are donated to charity.
