Description

Salvator is the original Doppelbock from Munich brewery Paulaner — a strong bottom-fermented dark lager at 7.9%. It brings together fine hops and dark barley malts for a resolutely malty profile. Deep amber colour, with aromas of dark bread, molasses and vanilla. On the palate, a beautiful malty roundness of dark caramel, chocolate and toasted bread, balanced by a restrained bitterness and a warming finish. A great classic of the style — rich, full-bodied and generous.

Munich, Bayern - GermanySince 1634, the Paulaner Brewery has been synonymous with the finest brewing art in Munich. But Paulaner beer specialties are also known and appreciated beyond the beer gardens of Munich and the borders of Germany. It is important to know that all Paulaner beers, which are consumed all over the world, were brewed in Munich in strict accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law.Paulaner beer is brewed with pure water from a 10'000 year old spring, which is extracted from a depth of 190 meters. Thanks to the low salt content, the yeast can develop in a good environment.
