AndechsAndechs, Bayern - GermanyThe Klosterbrauerei Andechs is a brewery belonging to the Benedictine Abbey of St. Boniface in Munich and Andechs. It is located in the Andes (Upper Bavaria). It is the only monastery brewery in Germany that brews beer all year round and distributes them throughout Germany. The annual beer production is over 100,000 hl. Only a small part of the beer from the Andes monastery is served on the "Holy Mountain of Bavaria" in Andechs. Most of the production is distributed throughout Germany and in many countries as far away as Russia, Finland and Japan.
