Polly’s Brew Co.: the art of hoppy beer from Wales

In the world of craft breweries, certain breweries stand out for their ability to create a truly distinctive flavour profile. This is precisely what Polly’s Brew Co. has achieved, a Welsh brewery that, in just a few years, has become an essential reference point for lovers of modern, intensely hoppy beers. Today, we are delighted to offer several of their creations at La Mise en Bière.

A meteoric rise since 2018

The story of Polly’s Brew Co. begins in the small town of Mold, in North Wales. Founded by Sean, the brewery started modestly with the ambition of producing modern beers inspired by the international craft scene. In just a few years, Polly’s has grown from a small-scale operation into a brewery recognised throughout the UK, with a dedicated team and a production process that is constantly evolving.

From the very beginning, the brewery’s philosophy has been clear: never stop improving. Every recipe is refined; every brew is an opportunity to learn and push the boundaries of quality. This constant quest for perfection is now one of the cornerstones of their reputation.

Freshness above all else

At Polly’s, freshness isn’t just a marketing pitch: it’s an obsession.
The brewery bottles its beers exclusively in cans and kegs to preserve the hop aromas as much as possible. This is a particularly apt choice for modern styles where fruity, tropical and resinous notes form the heart of the tasting experience.
This focus on freshness aligns perfectly with La Mise en Bière’s philosophy. Based in Lausanne, we work directly with numerous international breweries and place particular importance on the cold chain to ensure that every beer reaches you in the best possible condition.

A speciality: modern hoppy beers

If we had to sum up Polly’s in a few words, it would probably be: hops, balance and indulgence.
The majority of their production centres on Pale Ales, IPAs, New England IPAs and Double IPAs.
Their beers are known for:
explosive aromas of citrus and tropical fruits;
a smooth, silky texture;
well-balanced bitterness;
a full-bodied character that showcases the hops used.
Fans of modern hops will regularly find iconic varieties such as Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and Galaxy, often combined in original ways to create beers that are both accessible and complex.

An identity that stands out from the crowd

In a craft beer market where many breweries produce IPAs, Polly’s has managed to develop a distinct identity.
Beer enthusiasts particularly appreciate the consistency of their range: even when they explore new hop combinations, you always find that generous mouthfeel, that expressive aromatic profile and that drinkability for which they are renowned. This consistency explains why Polly’s is now one of the most popular British breweries amongst fans of hoppy beers.

We are currently delighted to offer several of the brewery’s beers in our range.
Patternist With Patternist, Polly’s explores the full richness of modern IPAs through an intensely aromatic beer, where the hops express themselves with notes of ripe tropical fruits, citrus and a perfectly balanced resinous touch. An expressive, silky and incredibly effective IPA.
Fashion Tape https://lamise.ch/fr/produits/pollys-brew-co-fashion-tape-52-44cl-can Fashion Tape takes Polly’s signature style a step further with a generous, enveloping Double IPA. Expect an explosion of tropical fruit, a smooth texture and a controlled intensity that remains surprisingly smooth on the palate. A beer that brilliantly combines intensity and drinkability.

Who are Polly’s beers for?

The creations from Polly’s will particularly appeal to:
fans of New England IPAs;
lovers of aromatic hops;
those keen to discover the British craft beer scene;
people looking for intensely fragrant yet easy-drinking beers.
If you’re already a fan of beers from breweries such as Verdant, Garage, Outer Range or Hoppy People, it’s a safe bet that Polly’s will soon find a place in your fridge.
