Achouffe, Wallonie - Belgium The story begins at the end of the 70's, in the heart of the Fairy Valley, when 2 brothers-in-law, Pierre Gobron and Chris Bauweraerts, decide to create their own beer in the garage of Chris' mother-in-law. With the little money they had at the time, they started what the fans of the brewery call the "Chouffe Story". The first brew was produced on August 27, 1982 and had 49 liters.
