An unctuous, silky-smooth New England IPA showcasing three noticeably pineapple-y hop varieties: Idaho 7, Bru 1 and Vic Secret. We’re getting Piña Colada on the nose followed by flavours of mango, apricot and pink grapefruit.
Beak began life as a nomadic project run by food and drink writer Daniel Tapper, who spent several years honing his recipes with friends at some of the UK’s greatest breweries. The project then laid roots in the East Sussex town of Lewes in 2020 where it also runs a taproom and street-food canteen. Though best known for its hop-forward IPAs, the brewery also makes a wide range of beers from crisp and clear pilsners to decadent imperial stouts.
