This beer has a deep, clear brown colour. Its cream-coloured head is extremely fine. On the nose, notes of vanilla, marzipan and wood dominate in a balanced way. On the palate, the woodiness envelops the aromas of bread crust, roasting, rum and empyreumatic notes. This edition reveals an excellent blend of the character of Chimay Bleue and rum. A balance between roundness and power that will be best appreciated between 6 months and 1 year after bottling. 36% French oak 42% American oak 22% rum
