The original Oktoberfest beer. A deeper golden to copper beer was the drink at oktoberfest up until the early 1990's when the modern, paler Festbier usurped it. Marzen is a celebration of beautiful Vienna and Munich malts that are base malts toasted to a higher degree imparting lots of rich bread crust and biscuity characters. Hops are used only for balance here and in just sufficient quantity to provide enough bitterness to give a clean finish.
Barcelona, Catalunya - Spain They started as a brewpub in 2015 in the Eixample neighborhood of Barcelona. In 2017 they opened the main brewery where most of the beers are brewed, though they still use the brewpub for their mixed fermentation beers.
