Yes but not overly so. Bitter? Just a touch to ensure it doesnt drink sweet and refreshes with every gulp. Hoppy? Well you get a little sniff of the finest German noble hops sitting in harmony with the bready, slightly honey like Bavarian Pilsner malt but neither is dominant. You get the idea. This is a beer to be drank in quantity and enjoyed when you just want a fulfilling drink be it amongst friends or after a days work. Unfiltered but lagered for an extended period of time to allow more brighter beer to be produced that carries a slight haze
