It’s been a few years since we last released a Double Soup, and as we brew everything inspired by the Soup, we thought it was high time to bring it back and give it a 2022 update. Packed with every Citra and Mosaic hop you can imagine, this beer is bursting with tropical fruit, stone fruit and citrus. We used three different hop varieties at three stages of fermentation to fully integrate the deep fruity flavours. Two separate additions of Citra and Mosaic Spectrum during fermentation lay down an already massive base of mango, pineapple and peach before we added T90 and Cryo pellets of these two modern classic hops post-fermentation. These final additions really saturated the hop profile with an explosion of tropical and stone fruits. The malt base of this version of Double Soup is in keeping with our current DIPAs, loaded with wheat and oat flakes to reinforce the beer’s creamy, silky body.
