Hudson Valley's first trip over to Barcelona for Mash meant we had to brew something that these guys are famous for and practically are the owners of: A Sour IPA. These concoctions are not just a sour beer with a load of hops. They are soft and fluffy, packed with fruit and adjuncts and are a lot of fun. We have gone with a stone fruit heavy version. Tonnes of peach and apricot have been loaded into a super soft, wheat based sour beer. Low temperature whirlpool hopping with peach heavy El Dorado and Citra Cryo and rounded out with lactose before being sent away to ferment on our house ale strain. Fruiting to a rate of 20% of volume and a touch of vanilla make this a sweet and sour sherbety beauty.
Barcelona, Catalunya - Spain They started as a brewpub in 2015 in the Eixample neighborhood of Barcelona. In 2017 they opened the main brewery where most of the beers are brewed, though they still use the brewpub for their mixed fermentation beers.
