Imperial Stout with Coconut If you are going to brew an imperial stout in the summer time, you gotta put in some sunny vibes. Hence coconut. This Imperial Stout is brewed to be a little leaner and more drinkable than some of our pastry stouts of the past yet still rich as hell. Layered with different levels of chocolate and brown malts to give dark and milk chocolate, hints of coffee and strong nuttiness, then turning up the bass with some deep caramel malts bringing dried fruit and toffee. This provides a decadent yet roasty platform that is rounded out by coconut cream for for a beer to finish off a summer nights drinking.
