Kievit - Zundert 10 - 10% - 33cl - Bte
Description
Zundert 10 is a Trappist Quadrupel brewed by the Trappistenbrouwerij de Kievit at the Maria Toevlucht Abbey in Zundert, the Netherlands. At 10%, it pours a deep ruby-brown topped with creamy foam. The nose evokes dried fruit, prunes and figs, with touches of spice, liquorice and chocolate. The palate is round and generous, balanced by a lovely hop bitterness, before a finish where the characteristic herbal notes of the Zundert house return. Gold medal at the Dutch Beer Challenge 2019.

Klein Zundert, Noord-Brabant - Netherlands Maria Toevlucht Abbey is part of the Order of Cistercians of Strict Observance, better known as Trappists. They live according to the Rule of Benedict (480-547). The main emphasis of this Rule is the “Ora et labora”: “pray and work” in regular alternation throughout the day.
