Mogwaï - Burgercalypse - 4.5% - 44cl - Can
Description
Gose-Style Burger Smoothie. When Strasbourg’s top burger chain got in touch with Mogwaï Beer Company to create a collaborative beer, it was bound to be something special. And given that Evgeny, the big boss at Starling Burgers, is a top-level beer geek, it was bound to be… mad. A year and a half after the initial request and five prototypes later (we do what we can, eh…), here at last is Burgercalypse, a burger-style Gose Smoothie. Smoked malt for the bacon flavour, tomato sauce for the texture, gherkins, red onion, barbecue sauce and pepper for the seasoning… and hey presto, there’s your liquid burger. And bon appétit, of course!

Mogwaï Beer Company is a young, independent brewery born out of the craft beer movement, which was founded in March 2022 in Mundolsheim, in the Strasbourg region. The first batches were brewed throughout May 2022, whilst the first beers were launched in June 2022 in 44cl aluminium cans and on tap. Our aim is to produce only limited-edition brews so that we can give free rein to our desire to experiment, whether with contemporary beers (Fruit Sour, NEIPA, etc.), themed beers (such as Pizza, Tarte Flambée, sauerkraut) as well as more traditional styles (Lager, Kölsch, Doppelbock, Bitter, etc.). We have no plans for a permanent range in the immediate future because… life’s too short to brew the same thing twice!
