Liam Ashurst is taking us to the Lake District for his second release. We’ve gone for a very fitting, but not often seen, Mountain IPA, which takes the juicy haze of a New England style beer, with the piney bitterness of their West Coast counterpart, for an IPA with incredible depth. Fresh melon and dark berry flavours of the brand new dry-hopped variety Luna, bolstered by a dank citrus pith edge courtesy of some hot side Eclipse. This beer is part of a whole series of releases curated by Barth Haas X and Brewers Select, with UK based breweries being paired with some of Australia’s finest. Our release is made in collaboration with Bridge Road Brewers, based in Beechworth, Victoria. Founded in 2000 by winemaker turned brewer Ben and his wife Maria. Liam Ashurst is an illustrator and designer whose bold graphic designs have a delightful sense of place and he’ll be showing us some of his favourite spots around the UK.
