Samuel Smith’s - Yorkshire Stingo - 9% - 55cl - Bte
Description
Some of Samuel Smith's oak casks date back more than a century, with the staves being replaced over the years by the coopers of the old brewery. Gradually, the casks become more and more imbued with the character of the beer fermented in the Yorkshire stone squares. Yorkshire Stingo is aged for at least a year in these well-used oak casks in the brewery's underground cellars, giving it aromas of fruit, raisins, molasses caramel, Christmas pudding and a slight oak flavour, before being naturally conditioned in the bottle.

Tadcaster, North Yorkshire - EnglandSamuel Smith is the oldest brewery in Yorkshire since 1758. They brew a wide range of high quality beers, using only authentic natural ingredients. They still use Yorkshire stone squares to ferment all their beers (except Sovereign and Extra Stout) and the same yeast since 1800.
