
S.A.S Karnage - Kinto - 11.1% - 75cl - Bte
Description
Grape varieties: 50% Cinsault, 35% Grenache Noir and 15% Grenache Blanc from David Caër in Aspiran, Hérault. Vinification: Harvested on 10 August 2023. Whole bunches of Grenache Noir and Grenache Blanc were macerated in the juice from the direct pressing of the Cinsault grapes. Maceration for 10 days, devatting, pressing and blending of all the juices. Bottled on Friday 24 November 2023 without any racking. Pure grape juice, nothing else. Nothing is added, nothing is removed.

Karnage is basically the story of two people: Charles Dagand and Stéphane Planche. Charles, along with Alice Bouvot, founded the Domaine de l’Octavin in 2005, and Stéphane, a wine merchant from Arbois at the Jardins de St-Vincent, has specialized in additive-free wines since 2002. Karnage is a pure wine merchant based on the purchase of certified grapes, vinified with their natural yeasts, without any additives (sulfur being an additive), and without removing anything… No filtration. Pure grape juice! In 2023, Karnage is evolving, and Stéphane remains at the helm alone, with the desire to continue this wonderful project, always driven by one thing: To make wines that I can drink, simple, enjoyable, honest, and sincere wines.
