Sint-Gillis-Waas, Flanders- BelgiumMusketeers Brewery was founded in 1999 by 4 brewing engineers. Brewing beer was the hobby and passion of these four comrades. Their first concoctions were brewed in Kristof's mother's kitchen. 20 years later, two of the founders - Stefaan Soetemans and Kristof De Roo - are still at the head of this Belgian brewery.Troubadour beers have gradually conquered the Belgian and foreign markets. Troubadour Blond is the oldest member of the Troubadour family and has been available since 1999. The first beer of the brewery was an 8.5% lager. According to the brewers, this makes you drunk too quickly, so they developed a new beer with less alcohol which they named Musketeer.
