An evolution of, in our humble opinion, one of the best session sours we’ve ever made. This tart and refreshing Cloudy Lemonade is bursting with citrus flavours from fresh lemon juice and zest. Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops pair perfectly with the zingy character of our mixed fermentation base beer, creating a light and crushable, vegan friendly sour rounded off with lingering sweetness. Reminiscent of an ice cold refreshment on a warm summer’s day, Cloudy Lemonade is enjoyable when the sun is out, and even when it’s not.
We’re Vault City, an independent craft brewery and Scotland’s largest sour beer producer. We make heavily fruited, modern sour beers in (sometimes) sunny Edinburgh. Since 2018, we’ve focused on relentless exploration when it comes to brewing. Our house culture and mixed fermentation base beer pair perfectly with real fruit ingredients, and we use literally tonnes of the stuff in our recipes to help push the boundaries of what people would typically expect from a beer. We set out to modernise a traditional style of brewing with our take on fruited sours. Our modern sour beers have converted even the most stubborn non-beer and traditional beer drinkers, with a mix of accessible and adventurous flavours.
