Our first ever 0.5% Stoopid release joins a series of smoothie sours dedicated to anyone who’s ever asked; “why can’t beer just taste like beer?”. Jam packed with unfermented fruit, we’ve paired luscious banana, juicy peach and mouth-watering mango with mountains of vanilla and coconut cream in every stoopid sip. We’re Vault City, an independent craft brewery and Scotland’s largest sour beer producer. We make heavily fruited, modern sour beers in (sometimes) sunny Edinburgh. Since 2018, we’ve focused on relentless exploration when it comes to brewing. Our house culture and mixed fermentation base beer pair perfectly with real fruit ingredients, and we use literally tonnes of the stuff in our recipes to help push the boundaries of what people would typically expect from a beer. We set out to modernise a traditional style of brewing with our take on fruited sours. Our modern sour beers have converted even the most stubborn non-beer and traditional beer drinkers, with a mix of accessible and adventurous flavours.
