We’ve been tweaking and adapting the recipe for this 6.8% WCIPA over the years, and we’re feeling it with Big Stupid Westy V6! We recently took a trip to California to pour at the Firestone Walker Invitational. We took a great deal of inspiration from the super crisp, lean, pale and crushable modern West Coast beers that the team couldn’t get enough of on the trip. What we’ve created with V6 is a rounded, resinous bittering, a big Mosaic whirlpool and hop dip, combined with a beastly four-way dry hop combo of Krush, Nectaron, Chinook and Columbus for strong, deep, dank black pepper, resin and orange peel aromas. Expect a dry finish with mild bitterness and sweetness, with flavours of sticky candy, grapefruit and gooseberry.
