Sijsele, Vlaandere - BelgiumFor Tony and Krystle Traen, the driving forces behind the brewery, Viven has been a passion for over twenty years (1999).Krystle, one of the few female brewers in Belgium, is responsible for the taste of the different beers in the range. She composes the recipes and brews the first test batches in Damme kettles. When a new beer is tasted and authorized by Krystle, the production is transferred to the Proefbrouwerij in Lochristi in order to be able to brew larger volumes.Tony is responsible for administration, transportation and sales. He started the story of Viven over twenty years ago in the small town of Vivenkapelle and made it into an international brand.
