Description

Vitus is the Weizenbock from Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan, the oldest still-operating brewery in the world, in Bavaria. This strong, golden and hazy wheat beer, topped with a dense head, displays the classic aromas of Bavarian yeast on the nose: banana, clove and a hint of bubblegum. On the palate it reveals a round, velvety and full body, with stone fruits (apricot), a malty, brioche-like backbone, softened by a gentle residual sweetness and fine effervescence. A dry finish despite its 7.7%.
