N’Ice CHOUFFE is a strong, brown beer that will warm you in the depths of winter. Spicy (thyme and curaçao) and tinged with hops, this is a very balanced beer. N’Ice CHOUFFE is an unfiltered beer which is refermented in the bottle and in barrels. Available from mid-October until mid-February.
Achouffe, Vallonia - Belgio La storia inizia alla fine degli anni '70, nel cuore della Vallée des Fées, quando due cognati, Pierre Gobron e Chris Bauweraerts, decidono di creare la propria birra nel garage della suocera. Con i pochi soldi che avevano all'epoca, iniziarono quella che i fan del birrificio chiamano la "storia della Chouffe". La prima birra fu prodotta il 27 agosto 1982 e conteneva 49 litri.
