Dublin, Leinster - Irland Whiplash begann als Nebenprojekt für Alan & Alex im Jahr 2016. Beide arbeiteten bereits in der Brauwelt, mieteten am Wochenende Tanks und veröffentlichten aus Spaß kleine, einzigartige Chargen von ihrem Arbeitsplatz und den Brauereien anderer Freunde in Irland aus. Die Dinge wurden immer intensiver und Ende 2017 war Whiplash fast gestartet. Im Jahr 2019 schlossen die beiden den Bau ihrer etablierten Mikrobrauerei in Ballyfermot Dublin ab. Jetzt mit einem Haus, einem Bausatz und einem kleinen Team: Whiplash ist eine moderne irische Brauerei.
