After breaking the bank in 2015 during the Paris Beer Week amateur brewing competition, the two friends Julien and Lucas follow a training course (micro biology for one and Institute of Brewing and Malting for the other) before starting to look for a premises as a production unit.

Looking for an extra member, the two friends joined forces with Charles Sanner to make their project a reality with a lot of concrete! Hoppy Road Brewery set up shop on the banks of the Meurthe River and the first bottles came out of the brewery's tanks in June 2017.
