Description

For this Druif, we have macerated various Muscat grape varieties sourced from Domaine Christian Binner in Ammerschwihr, Alsace, France. The grapes were harvested from the magnificent terroir situated below the Kaefferkopf Grand Cru and consist of 80% Muscat d'Alsace Blanc (or Muscat à Petits Grains), 15% Muscat Ottonel and 5% Muscat d'Alsace Rosé. These high-quality grapes were macerated for nearly three months in an oak cask that had previously contained red wine. We used one- and two-year-old lambic from three different barrels and nine different brews. All the grains came from the Pajottenland. The final fruit content is 356 grams of grapes per litre of finished Druif. 100% 3 Fonteinen.
