With a predominantly apple base complemented by a blend of pear and quince, the aromatic richness is unparalleled. Notes of violet, peach and melon mingle on the nose, followed by blackberry, apricot, raspberry and a hint of quince jelly on the palate. The bouquet is persistent yet lively, as the decision was made to allow almost all the sugars to be converted into alcohol. It pairs well with a variety of dishes and is particularly successful with a shepherd’s pie, roast chicken or a dessert.
Christian is above all a person who loves nature and takes an interest in it. Originally from Normandy, his love unsurprisingly goes to apples.
