The pinnacle of the Jura brewery BFM, the Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien Grand Cru is a mixed-fermentation sour ale aged in oak barrels previously used for wine, where wild yeasts and acidifying bacteria develop a complex aromatic palette. This 'Big Moustache' version further refines the cuvée in port barrels: notes of jammy red fruits, fortified wine, leather, wood and chocolate, on a vinous, acidic and tannic palate with a long finish. At 11%, a wine-beer to be savoured in a wine glass.
