Mazout Speyside Barrel Aged (2025 vintage) is Hoppy Road's imperial stout aged in Speyside whisky casks, bringing it to 16%. Powerful and velvety, it delivers generous notes of chocolate and a pronounced whisky character inherited from the barrel ageing. The base remains sweet and indulgent, while the remarkably smooth texture lets the alcohol express itself on the finish. A sipping stout to savour slowly.
Maxéville, East - FranceAfter breaking the bank in 2015 during the Paris Beer Week amateur brewing competition, the two friends Julien and Lucas follow a training course (micro biology for one and Institute of Brewing and Malting for the other) before starting to look for a premises as a production unit.Looking for an extra member, the two friends joined forces with Charles Sanner to make their project a reality with a lot of concrete! Hoppy Road Brewery set up shop on the banks of the Meurthe River and the first bottles came out of the brewery's tanks in June 2017.
