Popihn - Sauvages Framboise 2023 - 6,5% - 75cl - Bte
Description
Framboise 2023 is part of Popihn's Sauvages range: a 6.5% raspberry Wild Ale, spontaneously fermented and barrel-aged. The raspberry comes through fully, lifted by the fine acidity of spontaneous fermentation and a subtle influence of oak. The result is vinous yet light, with a superb balance between fruit, acidity and complexity. A fruity and refreshing wild ale of great finesse.

Vaumort, Burgundy-Franche-Comté - FranceThe Popihn brewery, named after its founder Arnaud Popihn, came into being in 2017.Aided by its original head-brewer, Günter Oltra, the brewery quickly established its style in the French craft landscape and became a benchmark for hoppy beer, brewing quality beers with perfectly executed styles. They brew with their own cereals, harvested on the farm of the same name and malted locally, and are now embarking on spontaneous fermentation.
