Our Oude Gueuze is a blend of young and old lambics, which has aged respectively 1 and 3 years in oak barrels. Bottle refermented, with distinct brett aromas, balanced acidity and notes of red apple, citrus and oak.
For over 300 years, Timmermans has perpetuated the tradition of authentic lambic. This unique beer is brewed from 30% wheat in Itterbeek, in the oldest brewery still in operation. Originally, a miracle: microorganisms in the air of the Senne valley penetrate the wort and cause spontaneous fermentation.
