Circus Tears was probably the first venture into real pastry territory for us at Garage and it was a real crowd pleaser so we figured it was time for a revisit. The malt bill remains the same with its complex notes of dark chocolate, coffee and dried red fruits. The only difference in this brew is that in the intervening years we have found better quality vanilla which really stars in this beer enhancing all of the other luxurious flavours and rounding out the body. Combined with the pistachio nuts and milk sugar you get a pistachio ice cream float type of feeling that we really dig.
